Chandrayaan-3: India Creates History with Moon's South Pole Landing

On 23 August 2023, ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 mission successfully soft-landed on the Moon's south polar region, making India the first country to land near the lunar south pole and the fourth country to achieve a soft landing on the Moon.
